Position Overview
EH&S Engineer (Temporary, 6 months) – located in Juarez, North Site.
Reporting to the EHS Manager, the role focuses on maintaining and improving safety and environmental compliance across the site.
Responsibilities
Consult with all departments on equipment design and safety programs.
Review plans and specifications for new machinery to confirm safety requirements.
Conduct site tours to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities, identifying hazards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Define requirements for safety clothing and devices; design, build, install, or oversee installation of safety devices on machinery.
Conduct or coordinate safety training and educate workers on emergency procedures, safety policies, laws and practices.
Investigate industrial accidents, minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports.
Perform air quality tests for harmful gases and vapors.
