Economic Development Consultant

The Economic Development Consultant is responsible for market research and appointment setting services conducted on behalf of our government client base. He/she is responsible for company research, target validation, and outbound outreach. The Economic Development Consultant will engage in phone conversations with C-level executives of expanding companies to determine the growth trajectory of each company and seek to schedule meetings on behalf of our clients. This position may also involve project management and client services on an ad-hoc basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospecting, generating, qualifying, and setting appointments
• Contacting and communicating with C-level executives to collect information on corporate growth strategy
• Researching companies and contacts using various web resources
• Understanding the client's needs and value propositions
• Understanding basic company financials
