EARLY LEARNING EDUCATION ASSISTANT – École St. Mary School

This position is open to all internal and external candidates.

We are looking to hire a continuous 14.0 hour per week (AM) Early Learning Education Assistant at École St. Mary School in Lethbridge. This assignment commences September 8, 2026 and concludes June 10, 2027. This position is covered by the CUPE 1825 Support Staff collective agreement.

Qualifications:

• Hanen Learning Language and Loving It Certification
• At least one year of experience working in a Childhood Program and/or with children with special needs
• Experience working proactively with positive intervention with child's behaviours
• Ability to provide supports and cues for sound production as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist
• Ability to match activities and model appropriate behaviours at child's functioning level
