Join the E-VIBE initiative as an E-Mediator focusing on online violence interruption. This part-time role offers an opportunity to engage youths in safe digital spaces while utilizing your social media expertise.
TNG needs two E-Mediators for the Children & Youth Services department in the Greater Toronto Area. As a critical part of the E-VIBE program, you will identify and address emotional distress and bullying online. Your role will require monitoring social media trends that could escalate to violence, de-escalating conflicts, and facilitating community workshops as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete mandatory E-Mediator training
• De-escalate online violence and threats
• Identify emotional vulnerability in youths
