Dynamic Radiation Protection Technician Role

Ontario Power Generation seeks a results-oriented Radiation Protection Technician II to enhance safety measures. Work in a dynamic environment with rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
In this position, you'll focus on routine radiation oversight through hazard assessments and safety training. You will review and document radiation control practices while ensuring personal protective equipment is up to standard. Your role will involve coaching team members and reporting any compliance issues immediately to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hazard surveys and document safety findings
• Lead briefings on radiological safety for staff
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of protection equipment
• Process and ship radioactive materials according to guidelines
