Role Overview

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) provides critical services to peacekeeping and special political missions. This internship is located in the Technology Development Unit (TDU) of the Technology Development, Design & Planning Section (TDDPS) Infrastructure and Operations Section (IOS) within the Service for Geospatial, Information and Telecommunications Technologies (SGITT) at the UNGSC in Valencia, Spain. The Intern reports to and works under the supervision of the Chief of TDU.

Responsibilities

• Support research on current and emerging UAS and counter-UAS technologies relevant to drone forensics and training applications, and present findings to the team.
• Assist in the development, testing, and validation of AI-based tools (including offline AI solutions) for drone forensics use cases.
