Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods, passengers, or materials to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and report maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report delays, issues, or updates.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver (commercial driving experience preferred).
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
- Familiarity with GPS devices, maps, and navigation systems.
