Responsibilities
- Reporting to Drilling Forman or Barge Superintendent. Responsible for drilling and under reaming pile sockets for various offshore operations - jackets, trestle piles 'SBMS', breasting dolphins, mooring and anchor piles, etc.
- Responsible for the operation of various drilling units - Wirth (pile top units) and Bowen, as well as repair and maintenance of these machines. Any mechanical failures to be notified to PMV or concerned department with proper follow-up.
- In-charge of maintaining the rock bits with regards to its availability. Repair as and when required and keep them in good condition.
- Responsible for reporting any malfunction or mechanical failures of the drilling tools to Plant office and ensure that it is fully tested and operational at all times.
