Airswift is searching for a Drilling Operations Manager to join a leading oil & gas operator in Villahermosa, Mexico. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing drilling and well intervention projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise drilling, completion, and workover operations
Develop and monitor operational programs (POA)
Coordinate logistics, materials, and third-party services
Ensure compliance with well integrity and regulatory requirements
Lead operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Interface with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
~ Degree in Petroleum Engineering
~10+ years of experience in drilling operations
~ Strong knowledge of well design, drilling techniques, and well integrity
~ Experience in HPHT, deep wells, or complex environments is preferred
~ Leadership and project management skills
~ Advanced English
