The Electrical Distribution Systems Design and Release (D&R) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of the wiring harnesses under their responsibility.
The EDS D&R is also responsible for design improvements that lead to quality increase, cost and weight optimizations.
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics desired).
- Strong English Proficiency (written, read, and oral).
- Basic 3D CAD Knowledge (TeamCenter, Vismockup))
- Microsoft Office Usage (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Time and Project Management.
- Ford GPDS.
- Understanding of feature partitioning.
- Understanding of automotive systems.
Design wiring harnesses complying with program cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets.
