We are currently looking for a dispatcher to join our team in Saint-Augustin-De-Desmaures, Québec. The person is primarily responsible for taking service calls and organizing the work of the drivers accordingly. This is a full time permanent position from Monday to Friday.
What you will be responsible for:
- Plan and organize drivers’ routes in an optimal way to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
- Assign routes to drivers (in-house software)
- Respond to internal customer calls efficiently, courteously and professionally
- Enter information into the computer system to document calls and perform appropriate follow-ups
- Be the resource person for drivers regarding their working hours and resolve problems when necessary
- Be able to weigh the trucks on our scales and enter them into our system
