Director, Pension Investment Risk & Operations

What is the opportunity? The Director, Pension Investment Risk and Operations will lead overall operations, risk assessment & monitoring, and related reporting activities pertaining to RBC’s Canadian Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension plan investments, including portfolio performance reporting & analysis and cash management.

Job Description The position will oversee investment risk in a portfolio context, inclusive of concentration, liquidity, leverage and market risks, and champion programs to enhance controls, monitoring and compliance with best practices for operational risk. This individual will be directly involved in new initiatives, performance measurement and analytics, building and implementing risk policies and frameworks, and managing relationships with internal & external partners, peers, investment managers and other pension service providers.
