Director of Engineering

Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Facilities Management and Development, the Director of Engineering provides leadership and oversight for NAIT’s engineering, technical services, asset management, capital projects and infrastructure integration activities. The position drives coordinated engineering and infrastructure solutions that support NAIT’s strategic priorities, institutional growth, operational continuity and long‑term campus development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership – lead the engineering and infrastructure functions within FMD
• Technical Services Oversight – oversee mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural and technical advisory services
• Asset Management Leadership – develop and execute IAM plans (Capital Maintenance and Renewal, Capital Renovation Program, Major Maintenance Planning, BLIMS submissions)
