Overview
Our Telecommunications group is currently looking to add a Directional Driller to our growing team, based in MB. Reporting to the Crew Foreman, we are seeking an experienced Driller to operate Directional Drilling equipment. This position requires the operator to know how to maintain and take care of the machinery that is being operated and to create a safe working area around their equipment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in a safe, efficient and appropriate manor
- Load and unload directional bore equipment in a manner that is secure and damage free
- Place telecom structures and pedestals
- Place underground and overhead fiber and copper cables
- Couple conduit and pull different types of cables
- Participate in Tailgate/Tailboard meetings
- Complete drivers logbook (conduct pre, en-route and post trip inspections)
