Directional Driller Position in Manitoba

Valard Construction is hiring a Directional Driller in Manitoba to join our Telecommunications team. This role focuses on the safe operation of directional drilling equipment in various projects.
Reporting to the Crew Foreman, you will be responsible for the upkeep of directional bore equipment and for executing safe drilling practices. Your expertise will not only ensure the proper installation of fiber and copper cables but also the secure placement of telecom structures. You will participate in ongoing training and safety meetings to enhance your skills further.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently operate directional drilling equipment
• Securely load and unload drill equipment
• Install telecom infrastructure such as pedestals
• Lay fiber and copper cables in specified areas
