Job Summary
The Dietitian is responsible for the provision of direct patient services, including consultation, assessment and education. They ensure clinical services meet the needs of the program(s) and participate in departmental, hospital and educational activities that support professional and corporate objectives. The Dietitian adheres to professional obligations required by the College of Dietitians of Ontario, supports the training and education of future members of the profession, and delivers care consistent with the hospital’s vision and values and the standards of relevant professional organizations. The incumbent complies with Occupational Health and Safety standards and proactively promotes a safe work environment.
Qualifications / Education
- Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition
- Completion of a Dietitians of Canada (DC) approved dietetic internship, or approved DC equivalent
