Dietary Aide

As a valued member of our culinary team you will assist with plating and serving meals and be responsible for cleaning serving areas and equipment while following established policies, procedures and standards. This position is located at Bayview Home in Toronto, ON and is a permanent part‑time role.

Responsibilities

• Serve food to residents according to individual diets and preferences.
• Observe time limits for meal serving.
• Maintain foods at proper serving temperature.
• Assist cooks in cleaning and preparing uncooked food such as salads, vegetables, and fruits.
• Follow basic instructions in preparing simple foods such as breakfast items, basic desserts, and garnishes.
