DIESEL – TECHNICIANS WESTERN CAPE
Our client in the Western Cape currently has vacancies for Diesel Technicians. The positions will suit someone with experience in the Commercial Vehicle Industry. FORD Trucks experience is a MUST.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The main purpose of the job is to provide technical and diagnostic expertise within the service department and in doing so, advise mechanics on best practice methodologies for repairs and improvements as per customer requirements.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- To carry out diagnostic work and support mechanics as instructed by the Foreman
- To provide advice and support to mechanics on technical matters
- To carry out fault diagnosis to aid and speed vehicle servicing
- To ensure diagnostic equipment is used for vehicle examinations
- To take steps to ensure servicing of vehicle, remains within the targeted percentages of the manufacturers' time
