Overview
Diagnostic Sonographer I position at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Fort McMurray, Alberta Health Services.
Responsibilities
Perform standardized and complex ultrasound services, prepare patients, review history, explain procedures, capture diagnostic‑quality images, address abnormal findings, and assist Radiologists, Cardiologists, Perinatologists, and other medical staff as required.
Requirements
Required Qualifications: Completion of an extended diploma from an accredited ultrasound program or certification in Diagnostic Sonography; active or eligible registration with Sonography Canada and/or Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists and/or ARDMS; current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS‑HCP).
Preferred Qualifications: As required.
