Job Overview
Working as an IT Operations Engineer, you’ll be managing infrastructure, operating systems, responding to incidents and being on standby, keeping the applications secure and compliant, and automating repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure management (Linux and Windows environments)
- Networking (firewall rules, DNS, DHCP, network storage NFS/NAS, SAN, CIFS/SMB, load balancing)
- Automation scripting to build and integrate tools that improve system availability, reliability, and performance using CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Configuration management enforcing configuration (Ansible, Puppet)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting performance, proactively identifying problem areas (software bugs, misconfigurations, bottlenecks) and trend analysis
