Underground Development Miner – Service Miner (Loader)
Join Alamos Gold Inc.'s Young-Davidson underground gold mine operations team. The role reports to the Supervisor, Mine Operations and involves leading the mine crew in loading rounds with the McLean Amex loader and supporting underground development. The position is based at the Young-Davidson mine near Matachewan, Ontario.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install ground support as per company standard
- Install and maintain services
- Load development rounds
- Prepare development faces for Jumbo Operator
- Perform pre‑operational inspections on equipment and operate efficiently and safely
- All other duties, as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Accreditation of basic common core
- Accreditation of specialty common core
