Development Laboratory Chief Chemist

Overview

We are looking for a Chief Chemist for our development laboratory in Helsinki.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure test concrete samples.
• Conduct compression strength tests.
• Test new raw materials and concrete recipes.
• Mix and conduct laboratory tests efficiently.
• Read and follow testing standards, especially in English.
• Report measurement results and contribute to product development.
• Operate the development laboratory independently according to test programs.
• Assist team members and support other functions on the Konala site.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of concrete and its testing through education and experience.
• Practical experience working with concrete is an advantage.
• Good basic physical condition, able to work in a factory environment.
• Proficiency in English.
