Shift Times: Will be on a as needed basis - Days, Evenings, and Overnights
Pay Rate: Starting at $22/hr

Position Summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Casual Detention Guard at the Fort St James RCMP detachment. Under the guidance of the RCMP Members responsible for Cell Block Operations, you will be entrusted with the safety and well‑being of persons in custody, along with other key duties.

Important: Applicants must reside within a 60‑minute drive of the detachment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Surveillance: Regularly observe and check prisoners, including monitoring via CCTV.
