Desktop Support Engineer (macOS & Linux)

Must-Have

• Strong written documentation skills
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and clarity of thought.
• Ability to logically analyze issues and propose effective solutions.

Good-to-Have

• Good macOS knowledge/ Linux knowledge in at least one flavor such as ubuntu.
• Knowledge on different package management (deb and/or rpm) and repository management. On macOS it’d be pkg/dmg/mpkg.
• System administration knowledge targeting / supporting desktop clients (filesystem, disk encryption, boot process, permissions, networking, process management etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership and accountability mindset
