Design Standards Coordinator

Position Overview

As part of the Equipment Design Engineering (EDE) team, the Design Standards Coordinator is responsible for the development, governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment design engineering standards, drafting practices, and related documentation. This role serves as the central authority for design standardization across mechanical, electrical, and multi‑discipline EDE teams, ensuring consistent, compliant, manufacturable, and scalable design execution across products and projects. The Design Standards Coordinator works closely with engineering leadership, designers, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and sustaining engineering to align standards with production realities, regulatory requirements, and best‑in‑class engineering practices. The focus of the role is standards governance, practical application, and continuous improvement—reducing rework, eliminating ambiguity, and improving cross‑team alignment.
