Job Description
- The Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end design, validation, and release of wiring harness assemblies and associated components for vehicle electrical systems.
- This role ensures that all design documentation aligns with master models and supports cross‑functional activities throughout the product lifecycle – from concept through launch and post‑production support.
- The engineer will collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and quality stakeholders to drive robust design execution, change management, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in the creation of D models and D drawings for wiring harness assemblies.
- Ensure part drawings and documentation match master models (Model is Master).
