Guadalajara- Design & Release Engineer (Cost Focus) - Remote in MéxicoYOUR ROLE- Develop and maintain 'Should Cost' analyses and technical estimations based on component specifications, technical drawings, and Bills of Material (BOM).
- Identify and propose cost-saving opportunities and optimizations throughout the vehicle development lifecycle to meet cost targets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, and Vehicle Program teams, providing data-driven cost deltas to close gaps between cost targets and supplier quotes.
- Provide essential cost analysis and data to support negotiation activities during RFQs, change notes, and key vehicle milestones.
- Employ client-specific methodologies and cost databases to create and deliver comprehensive cost analysis reports and present findings to program teams.
