Design Engineering Manager

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Design Engineering Manager is accountable to manage and direct the multi‑discipline engineering / drafting teams to produce outputs that are fit for purpose, in alignment with project requirements and produced in a timely and cost effective manner.

The tasks you’ll perform

• Provide technical leadership, creativity, and sound professional judgement, anticipating and resolving complex design issues while guiding the design team.
• Approve design deliverables including drawings, standards, specifications, and procedures, ensuring compliance with Company, Australian, and International standards.
• Plan, manage, and control design resources, man‑hour budgets, and schedules for Studies and EPCM projects to meet agreed deliverables.
