Responsibilities:
Design of NVH products based on specification of requirements (SOR) along the VCProMaP workflow from the pre‑RFQ phase to SOP. Comprehensive knowledge of and compliance with design guidelines, standards and best practice portfolios; implement and support innovative solutions.
Part design in respect to robustness, feasibility (DFM) and design to cost (D2C) using global VC Engineering tools – considering the respective due dates.
Contribution to root cause analysis, definition of design counter‑measures and optimizations to fulfill the requirements.
Documentation of development results (e.g. 3D/2D CAD, FEA reports, durability predictions and ProMaP deliverables) according to internal standards – upload of deliverables to VC ProMaP.
Preparation of dimensioned drawings for components and assemblies considering GD&T at least until concept release.
