Design and product development engineer

About the role:

We are looking for a mechanically strong Design and Product Development Engineer to join our product development team. You will work across the full design cycle - from concept sketches and hand calculations through detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, prototype builds, and field testing. You will be expected to think analytically, justify your designs with numbers, and iterate quickly based on real-world feedback.

What you will do:

Design mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for agricultural machines: structural frames, drive systems, conveyor mechanisms, cutting assemblies, and collection systems Perform engineering calculations to size components and validate designs before fabrication: forces, torques, stresses, deflections, fatigue, and power requirements Develop 3 D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using parametric CAD; apply GD& T for fabrication clarity Select standard components — bearings, chains, sprockets, faste...
