Dedicated Yard Driver for Transportation Team

Strengthen our logistics operations as a Yard Driver responsible for driving trucks to transport goods securely. Engage in vehicle safety while ensuring cargo is handled with care.
In this role, you will operate both straight and articulated trucks, carry out thorough inspections, and maintain compliance with safety practices. Your performance will directly impact transportation efficiency and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive straight or articulated trucks effectively
• Ensure cargo is safe with proper tarping
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections
• Track the vehicle’s mechanical condition
• Maintain complete driver logs and reports
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or A Driver’s License required
• Air brake (Z) Endorsement needed
• Must hold a CVOR Certificate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in steel hauling is an advantage
