Davenport Screw Machine Operator

Our client is looking for a skilled Davenport Screw Machine Operator to run, set up, and maintain Davenport multi‑spindle screw machines in a high‑volume production environment. This role focuses on keeping machines running safely, producing quality parts, and making adjustments to maintain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup — Set up Davenport screw machines for new and repeat jobs, install tooling, adjust cams/gears, and complete first‑piece checks.
• Machine Operation — Run machines during production, monitor performance, and make adjustments to timing, feeds, and tooling as needed.
• Troubleshooting — Identify and correct issues such as tool wear, chatter, misfeeds, or dimensional variation.
• Basic Maintenance — Perform routine maintenance, replace worn components, and support larger repairs when needed.
• Quality Checks — Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, ...
