Job Scope- Administer and maintain databases including DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Snowflake .
- Support OLTP/OLAP environments and perform routine monitoring and health checks.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Manage backup, recovery, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) processes.
- Troubleshoot incidents, resolve database issues, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
- Support cloud database environments (AWS RDS, EC2, Snowflake ) and implement security and scalability best practices.
- Maintain monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk ) and develop automation scripts where applicable.
