The Software Department at MDA Space is currently seeking a Database Architect / Infrastructure Engineer / MTS (Member of Technical Staff) on our Robotics & Space Operations team at our Brampton office. Database Architect / Infrastructure Engineer, you will be instrumental in using your skill and experience to design, implement, maintain custom, on‑prem databases to process structured and unstructured data.
Job Responsibilities
Review Database System Requirements and System Verifications documented by the System Engineers
Understand and assess design issues, determine appropriate resolutions, and work with the team to address them
Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and capacity through proactive monitoring, automation, and optimization
Develop and maintain internal build pipelines and necessary extensions, ensuring compliance and long‑term maintainability
