Data User Support Engineer (RE1)
Responsibilities
- Join the Data and Diagnostics Team (~20 people) within the CES group to respond to data requests from scientists.
- Perform centralized data downloads and formatting in the department archive, ensuring compliance with international standards (GRIB, NetCDF, Climate Data Store, Earth System Grid Federation, and other sources).
- Handle requests through the department ticketing system.
- Maintain operational data pipelines for subseasonal to decadal timescales.
