The Data Scientist is Afni’s catalyst of discovering the hidden insights in vast amounts of data, and enables our leaders to make smarter decisions about their business. He/she is proficient in applying data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems, integrated with the products and services that Afni provides.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex data and translates them into human insights and stories which drive actions/changes in strategy and tactics.
- Selecting comprehensive features, building, and optimizing classifiers using appropriate machine learning techniques/algorithms.
- Build predictive and forecasting models.
- Identify and conduct data mining of various sources of data (structured, unstructured)
