Overview
Rakuten's Global Ad Technology Department (GATD) manages the advertising systems that power Rakuten. We are developing an ad‑serving platform (RUNA ) that handles high‑traffic, low‑latency requests and processes massive log data. This role seeks data scientists who can drive end‑to‑end initiatives—from hypothesis formulation and modeling to online deployment, evaluation, and continuous improvement—to optimize price, CTR/CVR, creative performance, and operational reliability.
Responsibilities- Define problems for ad delivery optimization, design KPIs/metrics, and build observability dashboards and alerts.
- Preprocess data, engineer features, build models, and perform offline evaluation (including simulation) for price optimization, CTR/CVR and value prediction, and creative optimization.
