Position Overview
The Data Engineer will support the team in building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations across an Azure-first environment. Working under the guidance of a Senior Data Engineer, the role focuses on hands‑on development in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL, with exposure to API integrations and Power BI datasets.
What you will do as the Data Engineer
- Develop and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory for batch and incremental loads under guidance.
- Write transformation notebooks in Azure Databricks (PySpark/SQL).
- Build and optimize Azure SQL queries, tables, and stored procedures.
- Assist in integrating data from APIs, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
- Implement data validation checks and monitor pipeline health.
