Job Overview
As a Data Engineer at Expedia Group’s B2B arm, you will build and maintain a cloud-based data platform that ingests over 3.6b domain event messages per day, providing enriched data for internal services and partners. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and real‑time streaming solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop various facets of data capture, processing, storage, distribution, and visualization.
- Apply AWS standard methodologies and products (compute, storage, databases).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
- Build scalable and highly‑performant distributed systems with a focus on availability, monitoring, and resiliency.
