Data Centre Shift Technician

Purpose of the role

The role is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Data Centre facility in its entirety, ensuring client MSA and SLA’s are achieved. The Data Centre technician provides a range of services which revolves around day-to-day operations, monitoring & maintenance of the Data Centre facility, including, but not limited to, equipment and processes, ensuring effective and efficient operation of the Data Centre with a more focused view on HVAC systems.

You will however be the subject matter expert for all things Electrical ensuring the safe and stable operation of all systems supporting client environments.

Main function of the Job

• Monitoring, repair and maintenance of all critical Data Center infrastructure including but not limited to Electrical Distribution, Control, Fire, Generator, HVAC and UPS Systems.
