Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) manages day‑by‑day physical security operations of AWS data centers in Zaragoza, under the direct leadership of the Cluster Security Manager.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities and site security operations.
• Direct and manage the contract guard force for daily data center operations.
• Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel.
• Walk a facility to identify security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedure, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm points.
• Evaluate the contract security provider performance and request corrective actions as needed.
• Foster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions.
• Extract metrics and analyze data to observe improvements.
