Data Center Operations Technician (Night Shifts)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Data Center Operations Technician (DCEO) to join its expanding Infrastructure Operations team in Montreal and Varennes, Quebec. This is a night shift position.

The Engineering and Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. Engineering and Operations Technicians are Amazon's front line respondents for electrical and mechanical issues affecting Amazon's availability.

This equipment includes, but is not limited to: standby diesel generators and related fuel systems, switchboards/switchgears, UPS systems, PDUs, AHUs, CRAHUs, CRACs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems.
