Customs Analyst
Location: Juarez
Employment Type: Full-time, Regular, Permanent Contract.
Responsibilities
- Update customs instructions database (tariff, customs regulation for tax & duties suspension, preferential origin, customs value, etc.), perform product classification (BTI, suspension, etc.) and preferential origin.
- Prepare import and export operations (invoice, packing, bill of lading, etc. documents, arrival and departure schedules).
- Communicate with brokers to guarantee declaration compliance on a day-to-day basis.
- If authorization is granted by the administration, proceed to import and/or export declaration.
- Check brokers' import and export declarations vs customs instructions, invoices, transport documents, origin certificate.
- Organize and manage efficient document filling process.
- Check customs and accounting traceability in the ERP.
