About the Role

This entry‑level position is within the Provider Services group and focuses on contacting health care providers to resolve benefit and billing related inquiries. The role requires quickly resolving issues on the first call, documenting interactions, and building positive provider relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from health care providers (i.e. physician offices, clinics) and determine the type of assistance needed (benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits).
• Resolve issues on the first call by navigating complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller.
• Deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate solid relationships with providers and their staff.
