What You’ll Be Doing
Collecting rent and turning “past due” to “paid in full.” You will be working with residents, both past and current, to bring any past due balances up to date. This will largely be done on the phone but you will also leverage email and text to communicate with residents.
Negotiating and Problem‑Solving. You’ll work with residents to set up payment plans, assist with emergency rental assistance applications, answer questions about rent balances to ensure residents understand their charges, and encourage on‑time payments.
Coordinating with Housing Authorities – You'll track tenant voucher payments, ensure they are received and applied correctly, and escalate issues as needed.
Collaborating and Ensuring Accuracy. Working closely with leasing, eviction, and accounting teams, you’ll minimize delinquency, flag billing discrepancies for correction, and help reduce bad debt.
