Job Summary
The Customer Service Assistant acts as a liaison, providing product information and resolving customer inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete order information to customers (40%).
- Answer non‑standard inquiries about products ordered and offer minimal technical assistance (30%).
- Communicate with customers regarding price discrepancies, shipping information, dates, and lead times (20%).
- Track product issues, identify trends, and report findings to the manager (10%).
- Perform other duties as assigned (10%).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or two‑year technical/trade degree preferred.
- Five to seven years of related experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- High attention to detail.
