Custodian (Night Shift)

The Position:

Reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, the Custodian is responsible for performing custodial duties in the academic building, and occasionally some housekeeping duties in the student residences during the conference season. The Custodian is responsible for health and safety compliance, particularly protocols that have been established to mitigate the spread of infection on Redeemer's campus.

• This is a FT - 100% FTE role for an upcoming vacancy
• The work hours for this role are between 4:00pm - 12:00am

Responsibilities:

• Vacuum/clean halls, classrooms, offices, and gym
• Clean washrooms and restock paper and soap supplies on a daily basis
• Clean custodial closets regularly and refill containers with environmentally friendly cleaning solutions
• Dust and mop floors.
• Clean walls, doors, and glass/windows
• Operate commercial/heavy equipment to clean floors
