Cultural Facilitator for Community Engagement

Act as a Cultural Facilitator to promote Indigenous heritage and support tenants’ cultural engagement. Help others learn about their practices within a safe, respectful community space.
This role focuses on engaging tenants through cultural activities and providing informal counseling. As a facilitator, you will nurture a community atmosphere where safety and belonging are prioritized. Responsibilities include updating logs and managing community space cleanliness while being attentive to tenant behaviors and policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate tenant involvement in cultural and community events
• Create a respectful atmosphere for cultural engagement
• Manage informal support and crisis interventions
• Encourage social interaction and connections among tenants
• Ensure compliance with building policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Deep understanding of Indigenous culture and practices
• Experience in community support and counseling
