We are in need of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Oslo. As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy objects on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating cranes and possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate different types of cranes, including tower, mobile and overhead cranes.
- Interpret and follow blueprints to determine the correct placement of loads.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate movements.
- Conduct pre‑operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Rig loads for lifting and secure them properly using chains, ropes or slings.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
- Maintain a clean work environment and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
