Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cranes in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or issues
- Lift, move, and place heavy materials using the crane
- Communicate with ground personnel to ensure safe movement of materials
- Keep detailed records of crane operations and maintenance
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane including oiling, greasing, and replacing parts as needed
- Collaborate with site managers to plan and execute lifts in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Must have experience operating various types of cranes and hold a valid crane operators license
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred
